Specimen of Choice: oropharyngeal/tracheal swab (pool up to 5 birds per tube)
Tissues: lung, trachea, spleen, brain (individually bag each tissue, keep each bird separate)

| Collection Protocol: |

| Aseptically obtained specimen(s); place swabs in sterile tube with 2-3 ml of BHI broth or viral transport media. Viral transport media obtained from VDL-Virology may be used. Submit each tissue individually bagged and labeled with permanent marker. |
