| Specimen Requirements: |

| Whole blood in 3.2% sodium citrate (blue top) and EDTA. Include a sample from a normal animal of the same species if possible. |
| Collection Protocol: |
|
|
| Collect blood by atraumatic venipunction and place into blue top (Na-citrate) tube and lavender top (EDTA) tube. Fill blue top tube to mark. Fill lavender top tube at least halfway. Refrigerate EDTA, blue top/separate plasma and freeze. |
