| Affected areas of hair, scab, skin submitted dry in plastic bag or sterile tube; do not send glass slides. |
| Collection Protocol: |

| Cleanse lesion with alcohol wipe. Scrape scabs and hairs from edge of lesion with sterile scalpel blade. Affected hairs may be plucked. |
