| Whole blood in 3.2% sodium citrate, include a sample from a normal animal of the same species if possible. |

| Collect blood by atraumatic venipunction and place into blue top (Na-citrate) tube; fill tube to mark. DO NOT over or under fill the tube. Separate and freeze plasma. |
