At the OSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital your animal will be cared for by a team of board-certified veterinary specialists, interns and residents, veterinary technicians, and fourth-year veterinary students. Because we work together to provide state-of-the-art treatment for complex medical issues, a visit to the OSU Vet Hospital may take longer than a typical veterinary office visit.
When you visit the OSU Vet Hospital, be sure to bring your referral form (provided by your veterinarian), along with any test results, X-rays / sonograms, and history regarding the health of your pet.
If you have any questions about medicating or feeding your pet on the day of your appointment, or any questions regarding the referral, please contact your veterinarian.
Clinic hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. There is no after hours emergency care at the Small Animal Clinic but the Large Animal Clinic provides emergency service 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
