At the Lois Bates Acheson Veterinary Teaching Hospital your animal will be cared for by a team of board-certified veterinary specialists, interns and residents, certified veterinary technicians, and fourth-year veterinary students. Because we work together to provide state-of-the-art treatment for complex medical issues, a visit to the teaching hospital may take longer than a typical veterinary office visit.
If you have any questions about medicating or feeding your pet on the day of your appointment, or any questions regarding the appointment, please contact Reception.
Clinic hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. There are no after hours emergency care at the Small Animal Clinic, but the Large Animal Clinic provides emergency service 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
