Located off of the main lobby of Magruder Hall, the McDowell Veterinary Library provides access to nine public computers and a seating capacity of 59 along with two group study rooms. 

Circulation of Library Materials
Books: Circulate for three (3) weeks. 
Reserve Materials: Circulate for two (2) hours. 
Journals and Reference Books: For use in the library (exceptions may be made at the discretion of library staff). 
Computers

The McDowell Veterinary Library has nine computers available to students, faculty, staff, and the general public to provide access to library collections and other information resources for the purpose of supporting and facilitating teaching, research, and public service. Printing is only available to CCVM students. 

Photocopying

Copies may be made at a cost of $0.05 per page or charged to a Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine faculty account. 

Scanning

There is a scanner available and can be accessed from any of the public computers in the library. 

Group Study Rooms

Study rooms are for use by groups of 3-4 people. Study rooms are available in two hour blocks except for the noon hour. To give as many people as possible a chance to use the study rooms, each group may have one daily use unless the rooms are not already reserved. To reserve a study room up to 24 hours in advance, sign up in person in the library or call 541-737-6782. Unreserved time slots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
