Kelly Hicks is originally from Texas, where she received her B.S. in Biology at Texas A&M University. Dr. Hicks received her veterinary degree at St. George’s University and completed her clinical rotations at the University of Pennsylvania. Upon graduation, she moved to Virginia and completed a one-year small animal rotating internship at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Hicks enjoys teaching students and developing strong bonds with her patients and their owners.
In her free time, Dr. Hicks likes to travel and be outdoors, whether that be hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, or camping. She currently has a goldfish named Stitch and is also looking for a Schnauzer to adopt in the near future.
