Hello! My name is Leila Shetula(she/her) and I am part of the class of 2025. I am an out of state student from San Diego, CA and completed my undergraduate degree in Animal Science at UC Davis. I plan on becoming a large animal veterinarian because I love working with small ruminants, pigs, and cattle! Before starting vet school, I worked at the UC Davis Large Animal Hospital, the UC Davis Swine Facility, a large animal ambulatory service, and the San Diego Humane Society as a vet assistant. In addition to being a student ambassador I am also an officer in multiple clubs, the Merck Representative, and the American Association of Small Ruminant Practitioners Representative for Oregon State. In my free time I love to go thrifting, play video games, watch anime, and go hiking. Feel free to message me if you have any questions about veterinary school or Corvallis in general!
