The large animal emergency service provides specialized care and treatment of surgical, medical and reproductive emergencies in horses, ruminants, camelids, pigs and other large animal species 24/7, 365 days a year (including holidays). We see both primary emergency cases as well as emergency referral cases, and our hospital is staffed to provide intensive care to patients round-the-clock. The service is supported by a variety of large animal board-certified specialists, including a dedicated large animal emergency clinician.
