Biography

Dr. Haydan Vosburgh grew up in Topeka, Kansas. She convinced her parents to start riding lessons when she was six years old, and, as they say, the rest is history. Dr. Vosburgh received her Bachelor of Arts in History from Oklahoma State University where she was also a member of the Equestrian Team. In the gap between undergrad and vet school, she lived and worked in Lexington, Kentucky, as an ambulatory assistant at both Hagyard Equine Veterinary Clinic and Foxwood Equine Sports Medicine. She completed her DVM at Kansas State University and moved to Madison, Georgia, to complete a year long internship at Piedmont Equine Associates. Prior to moving to Oregon, Dr. Vosburgh worked as an associate veterinarian at Nebraska Equine Veterinary Clinic in Omaha, Nebraska.

Dr. Vosburgh enjoys a little bit of everything about equine general practice from ophthalmology and sports medicine to reproduction and dentistry and all the intricacies in between! When not working Dr. Vosburgh enjoys hiking and kayaking with her dog, Astrid, and competing in horse trials with her horse, Kisses. She also loves to travel and one of her goals is to visit every continent!
