Katie Curran is a Pacific Northwest Native.  She was born and raised in beautiful Seattle, Washington.  She traveled across the country for college and completed a biology degree at Yale University while competing on the women’s rowing team.  She was happy to return to the PNW and attend the veterinary college at Washington State University.  Go COUGS!  After graduation, she completed a one-year small animal rotating internship at Colorado State University (CSU).  Dr. Curran then continued her training at CSU with a three-year medical oncology residency.

Dr. Curran appreciates providing owners with a comprehensive approach to diagnostic and therapeutic options.  There are many recent advances in veterinary oncology and more are occurring all the time.  She enjoys working with owners to create an ideal plan that works best for them and their pets.

Dr. Curran shares her home with her husband, two Labradors and two tabby cats.  She enjoys skiing, hiking, yoga, cooking, reading and socializing in her free time.  Oregon offers many wonderful outdoor activities and she is excited to continue exploring the region.
