Ana Pacheco, DVM, DACVIM
Ana Pacheco joined OSU in 2018. She is originally from Brazil and has graduated from veterinary school at Universidade Federal de Uberlândia in 2005. After a surgical internship at London Equine Hospital (Ontario, Canada), she did a Large Animal Internal Medicine Residency at Tufts University in Massachusetts. She then stayed at Tufts for one more year as an emergency clinician and Dorothy Havemeyer Research fellow. Dr. Pacheco then worked for 6 years at Genesee Valley Equine Clinic, a private practice in upstate New York.
Shannon Litchfield, CVT
In another life, Shannon worked in business management and sat at a desk. Then one day, she decided to pursue her dream of working in veterinary medicine. Shannon began working in veterinary hospitals as a technician in 2003 and has been licensed since 2005. She has had the opportunity to experience many areas of veterinary medicine during her career, such as shelter medicine, general practice, large animal, ER/CCU, cardiology, and surgery. She then found her true passion in oncology.
Stacie Summers, DVM, PhD, DACVIM
Dr. Stacie Summers is board certified in small animal internal medicine and has a special interest in feline medicine. Stacie grew up in Southeast Idaho and graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University. After veterinary school, she completed a rotating internship at Wheat Ridge Veterinary Specialists in Colorado followed by a feline infectious disease research fellowship at Colorado State University with the Center of Companion Animal Studies. She completed a residency in 2018 and a PhD in 2020 at Colorado State University.
