Susanne Stieger-Vanegas, Dr. med. vet., PhD, DECVDI, is a full professor of veterinary diagnostic imaging at the Oregon State University Gary R. Carlson, MD, College of Veterinary Medicine. Originally from Austria, she earned her veterinary degree from the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna, completed specialty training in diagnostic imaging in Austria and Switzerland, and received her PhD from the University of California, Davis. Her clinical and research interests focus on advanced imaging, including CT and cancer imaging in small animals and New World camelids.
