Lauren Newsom, DVM, DACVR
Dr. Lauren Newsom is originally from Michigan and graduated from Michigan State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. After practicing small animal emergency medicine for several years, Dr. Newsom completed residency training in Diagnostic Imaging at Oregon State, and started her career as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Diagnostic Imaging at OSU in 2019. Lauren has a special interest in teaching and clinical training of students and veterinarians in diagnostic imaging.
Stacy Cooley, DVM, DACVR
Dr. Cooley was a veterinary student and intern here at OSU before going to Ithaca for her residency training in Diagnostic Imaging at Cornell. She returned here right after finishing her residency in 2015 and has been here ever since. She is the residency director for the ACVR Diagnostic Imaging residency program and is very proud of the program they’ve built, including retaining two residents as faculty members. She is an avid hiker, backpacker and world traveler. She lives in Corvallis with her husband and dog on the border of the MacDonald Research Forest.
