Albert came to our family by chance 17 years ago. Our next door neighbor's coworker had a puppy that she had to give up. My wife and I agreed to take him sight unseen. It was the best decision that we ever made. Albert (named after a baseball player star) was energetic and curious. Our grand children started asking for "Albert" stories at bedtime so Albert became a Rescue Ranger and a commander of a spaceship. Eventually other dogs and cats in our extended family joined the team to rescue pets in time of distress. Our daughter nicknamed Albert 'The Cotton Rocket' because of his lightening sprints around the house. Albert was a delight, loving to everyone he met, the life of the party and a great traveler. He loved the beach, hiking and children.
