Autzen was found as a stray in Oklahoma after "breaking into" someone's yard to play with their dogs. After no one claimed him, Autzen was rescued from a kill shelter and brought to Oregon - within 24 hours of arriving we had adopted him! He was a handsome, smart boy with a big head and a big heart. He brought so much joy, goofiness, and love into our home. He loved his daily walks and was always so excited to say hi to people and other dogs. Unfortunately, this past October at the age of 7 we found out that he had metastatic cancer and only had a short time left. We spoiled him with love, visits to his favorite parks, and good food until his last breath at the end of December. We never imagined how difficult losing Autzen would be and we miss him deeply every day. We will never be the same and cherish what he brought to our lives.
