Bailey was rescued from a construction yard at 11 weeks old and swept away into a fairy tale life.
He was a giant, gentle fluff at 145lbs (St. Bernard/Pyrenees/Shepherd) and lived an incredible 11+ years
He was raised at a boarding school in Tacoma, WA with his mom (a mid 20's dreamer) and was a crucial part of students' daily lives. Visiting their dorm rooms and into the elementary side of the school for class visits. He was therapy trained and traveled the country making people smile. He spent a lot of time on Lewis & Clark College's grounds while mom was in grad school.
Bailey believed that everyone was put on this earth to engage with him and that their day WOULD be improved if he got the chance to meet them.
His mom stewarded him out of pain and helped him skip the really crappy part of getting older. He would be so happy to know that somebody loved him enough to support vet students in his honor.
Bailey freaking LOVED the vet... which was just another one of his touches of magic.
