Bella joined me at 7 years old right as the Covid lockdown started (after an owner died, family surrender, shelter, and problem with other kitties at a new home). She was a wonderful companion and beautiful inside and out. She was spicy at the vet but loving and fun at home, my perfect match. In Nov. 2025, she lost a front leg after a fall likely caused by low calcium and potassium from an adrenal tumor (only 0.03% of cats get them!). We fought for her to get better (months of a feeding tube, meds, etc.). She was finally feeling back to herself, like bringing me her red sockie, and feeling so good that she made a final jump that broke the other front leg on Sept. 12, 2026, almost 10 months to the day after the first break. She is much loved and greatly missed.
