We had just lost our German Shepard, Bonner and decided to go "look" at the Humane Society, we came around the corner and Bentley stole our hearts immediately! We learned that he was part of the "second chance" program which meant he had been in other states but, didn't get adopted so they would move him to another state to see if he could get adopted there. I can't imagine why he had not been adopted! He was so lovable, soft and amazing. We took him into the room to visit with him to see if we wanted to adopt him. He crawled up in my daughters lap and we were sold. He was the easiest dog I have ever had, he loved curling up on the couch and just chilling. He didn't care for toys but, loved treats and walks! He loved laying in front of the fan and sticking his head out the window in the car. He loved his family and got so excited when it was time for a get together but, mostly he loved my daughter. They had a special bond. We will miss you, Benny. Life is sad without you.
