We adopted Bingo Dec 2015 from Home At Last in The Dalles. There was an instant connection between my husband, myself & Bingo. He was unique in that he was exceptionally bright and intuitive. I am convinced Bingo was an old soul and that is what made him so very special & intelligent. He had a signature wave that he made to both humans & animals alike which he gestured on his own. He also would grab your wrist with his paw & hold on tight while you gave him belly rubs. Bingo loved it when I gave him ear massages with my finger in his ears. He understood both hand signals & the English language. When he was in "the zone" he would lie on his back with one back foot anchored on the wall. He was a foodie and liked all kinds of fruit, even bananas & red bell pepper. I called him our little fruit bat. He loved camping and walks & hiking. He loved rolling in the wet grass in the summer and the snow in the winter. Bingo would play a little game of keep away every time I would try to put his harness on before a walk or a drive. It was just his way of keeping the upper hand. Bingo was my little shadow and followed me literally everywhere. He was/is my heart and the pain of his loss great. I speak to his spirit in hopes he hears me. I took a video of our last walk on the morning he passed and watch it every night before going to sleep. Bingo was the BEST dog EVER! He broke the mold for all before and after him. I only hope that when my time comes, we will be reunited.
