Buddy was a stray from Eastern Washington who landed in paradise at Eric’s parents’ country homestead in Battle Ground, WA, about 13 years ago. When we moved there to help out in 2015, Buddy stole our hearts, and then we “inherited” him officially after Eric’s parents both passed. We all went through so much together, he with us and us with him. We took him on a year long travel trailer adventure, one that he completely embraced and loved. What a trooper! Buddy was ALL heart, ALL love in the purest form. He hung in there so strong for so long (especially for a big, older dog), but he let us know recently that it was his time to cross the rainbow bridge. Rapid decline. Oh how hard it was to accept that and say goodbye! Sweet and loving right up to the end. “Buddy Buddinski, Bubba Stank, Bud Bud, Buddhi Sattva the Sundog”… you will be in our hearts forever. Thank you for blessing our lives and everyone you met. You were SO loved… and you are SO missed.
