He was the cutest puppy and we choose each other right away. We also came home with his sister who was also sweet and kind. Together they were rowdy and found ways to get into trouble. They were always finding ways to escape the fenced in yard. This is how they earned the names of Bonnie and Clyde. Clyde was the calm boy who did whatever Bonnie wanted. He preferred to snuggle up with me under blankets. During the winter months he demanded a fire be made, his bed pushed close to it and made sure to let us know when the stove needed more logs. In his youth he would run like the wind, preferring the beach over walks in the Park. He loved to hunt for mice and gophers, and he knew it was his job to have everyone in the world pet him. He would not leave their side until they did. He was my very good friend for just over 14 years and I will always have wonderful memories of him in my heart.
