Crichton was the best gift I've ever received. I asked for him when I was 8 years old after I met my first Great Dane, Molly, at my Pappy's house in Pennsylvania. Instead, I waited another 15 years and was given Crichton as my OSU college graduation present at 23. Every day since I picked Crichton up at 8 weeks old, he brought me joy and laughter and taught me how to be present and enjoy the little moments. I miss the attention grumbles and bark talks he'd have at me when I wasn't paying enough attention to the elephant toy he was prancing around with. I'm thankful for the time we had together and I'd do it all over again if I had the chance.
