Dixie Rose was a three year old German Shepherd raised from an eight week old puppy and trained by her "mom", Barbara, to be an amazing service dog. Dixie Rose was an accomplished hearing and migraine support service dog who enable Barbara to live a full and active life. When Dixie's "Dad" went through a difficult cancer journey, Dixie was always ready to provide physical stability and emotional support for him. Much to Barbara and Brent's dismay, their beloved Dixie Rose, passed away from a severe, widespread systemic infection caused by Aspergillus fungus. She was a bright star in many people's lives and she will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
