Elsa was a sweet soul and loved by many. She welcomed company at the door, and was part of nightly dinner conversations around the kitchen table. She knew to tap your leg and lead you to her favorite brush, and to give hugs when we both needed them. She loved to keep me company wherever I was in the house or garden, always by my side to provide love and commentary. She fought her way back from paralysis, and learned to walk again to give us four more years of memories and love. I miss her dearly, as she was my best companion for 13 years.
