Just 11 short years ago, we were chosen by the most incredible, loving cat. His original adoption card mentioned that he was quite zany, loved cuddling, and had an unusual attraction to feet, and he truly encompassed these traits. Whether it was through his insistence to be held or his incessant chattiness, he always made sure that he was the center of attention. We never had issues finding him in another room, he would meow and meow until we responded, just to make sure we were nearby. Sometimes we were sure he was more dog than cat, as he never left our side. Faustus was our alarm clock in the morning and our reminder at night, making sure we were in bed at appropriate times, and that we were awake at the crack of dawn. Always excitable, we could only calm him down by giving him our full, undivided attention, or sometimes serenade him with an acoustic performance by Ed Sheeran.

We are very grateful for the love and happiness that Faustus brought into our lives. We miss him every day, he will never truly be forgotten.

Faustus' life was cut short by cardiomyopathy. And we truly appreciate the care from Broadway Vet, Dove Lewis, Dr. Rappaport from Portland Veterinary Cardiology, and Cascade Veterinary Referral Center, that allowed us to fully celebrate these last few months with him.
