Finnegan was adopted from Pacific Pug Rescue in 2011 after having been abandoned by a previous owner. He did not let this experience get him down, though, as he quickly became absolutely the best and most loving companion we could have asked for! A gentle dog with a strong, indomitable heart, all he wanted (aside from a full belly - he was a Pug after all!) was to give and receive love. He loved to cuddle. He brought great comfort to my mother in the last years of her life. He enjoyed his visits with his grandma! In 2014 we decided to share him more widely and created a Facebook page for Finnegan and our other Pugs and pet companions. Eventually almost 2500 people from all over the world were following Finnegan's adventures and in his role as unofficial spokesPug for animal rescue and adoption of senior animals advocacy, of course with an emphasis on Pugs!

Our hearts are heavy with the loss of Finnegan, yet his loving spirit will live on and we will never forget him and the impact he had on those of us who loved him the most!
