Grace was the sweetest Chow Chow I’ve ever had.
If you weren’t paying enough attention to her, she’d reach out with her paw and touch your foot.
After every meal she’d play with her toys. Greeted me in the morning at the foot of my bed, patiently waiting for her breakfast.
Those sweet eyes, we looked into each others eyes everyday. She had a painful life. She had surgery on all four elbow joints all in one day. I fed her and took care of her every need by her side.
She was my shadow. Stepped on, tripped over, as she used to lay right by my chair in the walkway.
We used to take a walk every night in the back of our property, chasing Bunnies. Never to catch, the Bunnies are way faster than a chow. Then she would lay in her favorite spot on the patio watching bunnies in the neighbors yard.
I miss her so much, can’t wait to see that tail wag again.
