Grady was a beloved member of our family for nearly 13 years. We found each other in Oakland at a local shelter...and he hopped around with us from apt to apt, state to state. He was with us every step of the way, as we grew from a young couple, into a family with 2 happily crazy boys. He welcomed all the new adventures and family additions, and watched over our boys like a devoted grandfather. He was ever present with Liz, and never strayed far from her side... always going to sleep alongside her, while she worked late nights. He was a keen listener and a quiet teacher, and his absence is deafening. However we find solace knowing that we shared a beautiful life together. We are better humans for having had him choose us so many years ago.
