The picture shows Holly in her Oregon State dress. She was quite possessive of a rather extensive wardrobe. She knew the items belonged to her and could put her own feet in.
She came to us at 8 weeks old (about 2 lbs.) the Saturday before Christmas 2009, which explains why her name became Holly.
Athletic, amazingly intelligent, and a tremendous little retriever, she made friends wherever she went. We have lived in Independent Living at Portland's Holladay Park Plaza for the past twelve years, and Holly has been the darling of all of the residents.
We literally have 100s of pictures of her.
We feel particularly blessed to have had her as part of our lives.
