Huston or Huey was born in Fresno, California in 2005. She found her way with her brother Maddux from a Babies 'R Us to her new Mom, Shannon, who was a college student at the time at Fresno State University. Huey enjoyed the college life of going to class, parties, and playing with her brother. After graduation, Huey and her mom moved north to Sacramento where Huey had a great view of "Old Sacramento" from her second story window, with views of the river and the Jazz Jubilee Festival. Eventually, Huey and her mom moved in with her future dad, added new cat & dog brother and sisters in a larger house in Sacramento. Huey loved to be outside and jump, run, and climb up/over fences to explore her neighborhood. She was also never afraid to back down from a rumble with other cats in the neighborhood. At times coming home with a scratch or bite mark. About halfway through her life, Huey was struck by a car which caused her back leg to be amputated. This slowed Huey down but didn't deter her from continuing to enjoy playing outside, jumping up on couches or beds for snuggles. Eventually, Huey settled down in Portland where she continued to play in the sun and got to be the first cat for her two human siblings, Addison and Austin. She lived 21 amazing years overcame many adversities and was loved by her family every single day of her life. She will be missed and forever cherished. Love you Huey! Shannon, Ash, Addie, & Austin
