Lady’s life with us started in 2005, there were two puppies left of the litter, her and her brother. Mom had wanted a female but had thought about taking both of them, since they were so cute. She took only Lady home with her and she had become the boss. Lady was stubborn from the start and lived her life that way. She was a sweet dog and was very smart. She was a quick learner and loved to tease which was most of the time. If she wanted your attention she would grab the kitchen towel and run with it, if you were to take it from her she would let you get that close and then run and look back to see if you were chasing her. This probably happened every day. It was a game she liked to play. She loved kids and other dogs whether they were ones we saw on a walk or during family gatherings, since she was part of the family too. She was very social, if she couldn’t greet another dog while we were walking, she just would stop and look at them like what… most of the neighborhood kids would stop and want to pet her which if she had time would wait till they did. She had many more smells to investigate, which is what walking is for. We rescued two other beagles at different times during Lady’s life; she loved having a companion to inspect the backyard, or to see what all we can get into. She out lived both of them. Lady lived a good life and will be remembered with love, always.
