Black and tan shepherd mix on forest trail

Larkin was a good boy. We adopted him from the Oregon Humane Society in Portland. He was a part of our family for 13 years. He enjoyed camping, hiking, swimming, and chasing his favorite ball. He traveled in a car to Iowa from Portland on three different occasions. He rode on a whitewater raft through Hells Canyon. In Portland, he walked to the top of Mt. Tabor, Kelley Butte and Mt. Scott. He was awesome around children, shy around adults until he got to know you. Everybody loved Larkin, we miss him terribly, our lives are not the same without him. Larkin was a good boy.
