Lily was a very loved and treasured Devon Rex in our family for just under 8 years. Lily's vet detected a murmur in 2023 when she was 4 years old, and she experienced a fainting episode later than year. An Echocardiogram found her to have possibly obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. She was well managed with Rivoroxaban, Dabigatran and Atenolol until June of 2025, when she had acute distress with her breathing. A visit to Emergency Veterinary Services was made and we had to compassionately euthanize her as she struggled with her heart failure. She was the softest, most cuddly, head sleeping and bed hogging sweetheart of an always purring cat, and she is missed every day by her humans and her Bengal sister who always cleaned up her food.
