Logan was a very wonderful dog. He went everywhere with us -- on airplanes, on road trips and moved into 6 different homes. His personality was calm and laid-back -- not usual for a chihuahua. In puppy class he chose the biggest puppies to befriend. His coat was long and soft; he was always a pleasure to pet. He liked to chase socks and play games. He did agility for a time and ran the courses with intelligence, but not much speed. He was 15.5 years old when he died. Since Logan was our first dog, I had no idea how hard it would be to say goodbye. We buried him in the yard and gently placed a beautiful dogwood tree upon him. The flowers of the tree are white like the color of fur on his chest. My son likes to think that his spirit will join with the tree. Our dogwood tree will be a beautiful reminder of our beloved companion.
