Lola was adopted form the Southern Oregon Humane Society (where my niece volunteered) after being rescued from Southern California. She was found with her deceased owner and was on the list to be euthanized. They estimated her age to be about 6-7 years old. When they brought her out for me to meet, she immediately jumped into my lap. I knew she was mine.
Lola was a playful, loving companion to me these last seven years. It was a difficult decision to let her go, but she was hurting. After she passed away, I brought her back to her home and buried her in my backyard. This week we purchased a small stone to place on her grave. It will have her name, and pink bone etched in it with the day she passed away.
I loved her very much and greatly miss her!
