Marzipan always seemed like a trans dimensional cat, and was surprised to find himself suddenly awake, and still here. When he was awake, he was a perfect dinner companion and joined us at the table every evening. He enjoyed a wide range of flavors and sauces from mild to spicy. Like most cats, he thought well of himself. Looking into his eyes, when he was awake, you got the feeling he’d just seen some attractive puffy clouds in another universe. He was quiet overall, because there wasn’t much one could add to his magnificence… But also, we suspected, because there were other planets to visit and other fluffy clouds to view. He passed from this world at the age of sixteen, and wherever he is now, he expects perfect salmon pasta with alfredo sauce.
