Mickie was a fun and faithful companion to our family for more than 12 years. A rescue dog of sorts, left for adoption at nearly 2 years old due to former owner’s health. We were blessed to have come across her shortly thereafter. Always one to greet you or guests with a hello howl. Loved the beach and loved to play chase. She experienced with us many life changing moments in our family; from late wife’s passing, to oldest son’s marriage and also me (“dad”) getting remarried which included another K-9 buddy. Your sweet nature and oft goofiness will never be forgotten! Nor your overdose of chocolate 3 years ago, which surprisingly didn’t take you from us, then. Thank you for comforting us thru some of the peaks and valleys of life, Mickie! You’ll never be forgotten.
