Mojo-jojo

Mojo-jojo (Powerpuff Girls reference) aka Mojo, Mojito, Moji-joj was a unique cat with a colorful history. Some lifetime highlights: Mojo was born from a stray cat. When mama was discovered she absconded with 2 kittens, leaving 2 week old Mojo behind. Our neighbors found him and took initial care of him. Their cats wished to destroy him, so Mojo spend much of his early kittenhood in a catcher's mitt outdoors, while the kids played. Our dog took Mojo under his wing. I didn't know we needed a cat, but our dog needed a cat, so we adopted him! Mojo grew up living a quintessential cat life - indoor/outdoor when he pleased, accompanying us on walks or lounging in the middle of a walking trail, forcing dogs and people to skirt around him. He came home for dinner when I called for him. One summer Mojo joined my kids at a nearby nature camp, everyday, every activity. Mojo did disappear on 2 occasions. Once, for several months in the summer, until we found him on a walking trail. The second time he was gone for a full year. He followed a family home from a walk, darted into their house, jumped on the counter and stared at their crockpot until they fed him. Mojo became an affectionate snuggly indoor cat for the rest of his life, retaining his survival skills for use at vet visits. The vet techs had quite a challenge, even into his final days. Mojo succumbed to kidney disease on Nov 9, 2025, survived by his adopted siblings Izzy the dog, and Ozzy the cat.
