We picked out Nell at the Oregon Humane Society in 2012 when she was four years old. She was a beautiful girl, so excited to have a new home. She was a loving, smart and adaptable darling. She fit right in with our family which at various times included our adult daughter and our toddler granddaughter, as well as two cats and other dogs. She loved to go to the beach and camping with us. She was not usually that interested in other dogs at the park, preferring her own human and animal family members. She could really run - we think she may have had greyhound blood in her, as well as clearly being a pointer mix. It was hard to see her age and eventually suffer. We miss her and will always have very fond memories of her being a loving family member for the 10 years we were blessed by her presence.
