Ollie

I have historically rescued dogs from the shelter or other rescue organizations, and so I started to feel that I had a shortened time with these pets because I would get them a little older. Ollie was our first puppy we ever got from a breeder. I had heard that the English Cream Retrievers were less prone to cancer than their cousins the Golden Retrievers, so I thought this might be a good option. He came as a white ball of fluff and boy puppy energy. Thankfully he outgrew his "rascalness", but he remained the sweet boy that we loved him for. Ollie eventually became a blood donor at Dove Lewis. He was a really good dog, friend, companion and will be forever loved and missed.
