When Rose was about 2 she came to the Budil Family from Indigo Dog Rescue. And what joy she brought! She managed to have a very special and personal relationship with Kathy, Jeff, and Tyler Budil as well as Aunts Louise and Colleen. Some of us fed her, some of us brushed her, some of us walked her and all of us loved her. She was gentle, game for almost anything and had heart. She was almost 15 when she died and, altho' she was slowing down, she lived fully right up until the day she died - she walked 1/2 miles most days, enjoyed her food and treats up until the end, and one Saturday she went upstairs, got in bed and never woke up. We are grateful to have had the pleasure and privilege of living with Rose. She'll remain in our memories and hearts forever.
