Ruby

Ruby (aka Roobes, Schmubes, Schmoo) was adopted at 4.5 and we had her for 11 amazing years. She was loyal, sassy, cheeky, and incredibly smart - in her last weeks she was still learning new tricks. Her favorite activities were sunbathing, watching people walk on the sidewalk, jerky treasure hunts, and walks to Mud Bay. She would watch over the home to make sure everyone was safe, and would use any mirrors to make sure the entire room was monitored. Most of all, she was a friend; she could read when someone needed comfort, or a distraction, or just someone to talk to. She loved her ears being played with. She was a good dog, and is missed greatly.
