Sadie

In October of 2019 Sadie joined our family in Portland, Oregon as a rescue from Dallas, Texas. She quickly became an integral part of our world. Sadie was the goofiest dog. She loved whipped cream and steak, squeaky toys, chewing on sticks, romping around at the beach and of course barking at our mail carrier. She was a stereotypical boxer: clingy, loving, and hilarious. 

Sadie was diagnosed with Lymphoma in August and died peacefully in our arms November 5th, 2025. Sadie’s end of life was peaceful and beautiful thanks to the compassionate care at Grateful Heart.
