Socks came to live with us 14 years ago after hunting on his own in farm fields. He was affectionate, patient, fierce, and possessed a quietly commanding demeanor. Socks gave strong corrections when necessary. He was a skilled survivor. He taught us respect. It has been a privilege to share life with Socks. We miss him terribly knowing he was truly one of a kind.
