We were very sad to have to say goodbye to another one of our dear friends at the end of September. Augustus “Sonny” Harper joined our family shortly after he appeared at the patio door in August 2009. He was a lean, young ginger tabby with pleading, insistent “let me in” eyes. So, I opened the door and let him in. He was a gentleman from the start. He used the litter box right away and only scratched on the cat tree. Sonny grew into quite a large fellow and he often kept me warm as I napped in the recliner. He was an amusing trickster and we appreciated that part of his personality, as well.
We’re missing you very much Sonny and we hope you’re resting well with all of our beloved friends on the other side. P.S. Don’t pick on Miss Peggy!
