My soulmate Tori was my absolute everything. She was gifted to me on 2/6/06 at 3 months old by the Humane Society I was working at in Fort Walton Beach, FL.
The 2 of us spent 15.5 years together moving all around the country. We even lived on Oahu for 5 years where we both learned to stand up paddle, which is where this picture of her is from.
Tori was literally the best dog I’ve ever owned, worked with, or have known. She never pottied in the house, chewed anything up, dug holes, barked, etc. I could even leave my plate of food right next to her, leave the room then come back, & she wouldn’t have touched it.
We had a lot of adventures together and I treasured her more than anything else in my life. It was only Tori and me for the 15.5 years.
I miss her immensely but have gotten three dogs since Tori passed away. I love these 3 dogs, but they have not filled the hole in my heart that Tori left. I still cry most days over losing her and it’ll be 3 years on May 15th that I had to euthanize her. I made her promise that she would be waiting to greet me when it’s my turn to leave this physical realm.
I will love you forever my sweet angel, Tori! Thank you for giving me the best 15.5 years of my 52 years of life.
