Tucker came into our lives with his Brother Pete about 6 yrs. ago. Woodburn Pet Hospital and Dr. Beth helped us say goodbye to one of our older cats one day and we stated that if we ever wanted another cat we wished for 2 siblings, orange color and with no tail like a Manx. 2 weeks later Tucker and Pete came into the Pet Hospital. Both were siblings, orange and one had no tail. Was it fate? As Siblings they played but also wanted their distance. Tucker was very chatty, liked to be around humans, affectionate and one of his favorite things was to run through the house for no reason. We think they were a mix of Siberian Forest cat and Manx. Their personalities fit the profile and lots and lots of fur. It is always hard to lose a cat but 6 years is way too short and is hard on the sibling that is left. We think Pete knew something was up. Unexpectedly Tucker developed a tumor on the back of his tongue. No warnings and no cure. One of the hardest things us humans have to do is say goodbye to a dear furry friend. We just need to enjoy the time we have with them, learn from them on how they look at life, smile at the memories.
