Shipping Requirements
Label all samples. Ship overnight with cold packs in an insulated container. Ship Monday-Thursday only. Submit specimens in sealed leak-proof containers.
Specimen Requirements
Submit whole fish or formalin fixed paraffin embedded block.
Collection Protocol
May pool up to 5 fish for the price of an individual - non fixed specimens only.
Detection of Mycobacterium haemophilum by real time PCR. Fixed specimens require a longer processing time and an additional extraction fee. Test also available as part of the Mycobacterium PCR Panel
